President Doug Kiffmeyer


In 1992, just after high school graduation, Doug decided to utilize his property, casualty, life and health insurance license to start a hometown insurance agency. Over the course of the next four years Doug attended Lewis & Clark Community College in Accounting and built the agency, accumulating over twenty-five major contracts in the industry.
In 1996 Doug sold the insurance practice and after studying to become a Registered Representative in securities for Sicor Securities, Inc., bought his father’s accounting firm.
In 1998 that business expanded to become Kiffmeyer Tax & Accounting Service, Ltd., with the mission to improve the retirement services industry.
In 2000, with a Certified Estate Planning Professional accreditation, Doug started working on high-end estates to help ease federal estate taxes and probate issues. This endeavor brought about a new corporation, Kiffmeyer Tax Advisory Group, Inc., employing CPA’s, Elder Law
Attorney’s and other investment advisors to assist retirees with their investment structure.In 2001 Doug became a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and has been ranked #2 in the nation by USA Tax Advisors, Inc. four years running.
In 2008, with a desire to do more, Doug started the patent company Ultimate Innovative Designs Inc.
In 2009 a record label, Arsenic Records, Inc., sprang from Doug’s lifelong love and passion for music.
Currently Doug is President of Kiffmeyer Accounting and Tax Service, Ltd, Kiffmeyer Tax Advisory Group, Inc., Ultimate Innovative Designs, Inc. and Arsenic Records, Inc.
Doug is determined and driven to accomplish everything he sets out to do and believes in the people with whom he surrounds himself. He feels fortunate to have experienced such great success in his own life and that it is his calling to inspire positive change in the lives of others.

Creative Director: Print & Web Strategies Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones handles the web design, web strategies, print marketing, branding and much of the graphic design for Arsenic Records. He blends his computer programming, music and graphic arts background into all facets of the Arsenic Records brand.
Dan is a graduate of Illinois State University where he double majored in computer programming and graphic communications. He spent his last 2 years of college maintaing the schools Student Printing Department. His contributions to the department garnered Dan the "Student of the Year" award.
After college Dan has freelanced for Creative Juices Bottling Company now located in Los Angeles, CA. With CJ BOCO, Dan worked on web sites and print designs for lofts, restaurants, and businesses located on St. Louis' prestigious Washington Ave.
In 2007, Dan formed his own company, Not Just Another Jones, to pursue his love of Graphic and Web Design. Not Just Another Jones has done branding, web, and graphic design work for numerous clients in the corporate world as well as local businesses, photographers, and the music industry.
Dan caters to his clients needs. His unique background in design, printing, and computer programming allow him to handle all aspects of client identity. What might start as a few notes on a napkin during lunch will turning into a complete corporate identity branding. Not Just Another Jones can handle any job from logos and letterhead to print ads and billboards. Dan is a social networking consultant and uses his knowledge of the major search engines to maximize his clients web presence.
As a lifelong musician, Dan has a great love for music. He is extremely proud of his work with Arsenic Records and being able to help build the visual identity of the artists on the label.

Creative Director: Artistic Video Production Michael Gebben
Michael Gebben handles the video production needs for Arsenic Records thru his company GEBBS Studios. He has been honing his creative skills from a very early age. Michael started his company right out of high school at the age of 19, growing it to a full video production studio two years later. GEBBS takes anything basic or normal and makes it look like art.
At the young age of 23 Michael travels nation wide producing video projects. GEBBS Studios has produced videos for ED Hardy, Anheuser Busch, STL Fashion Week, Argosy Casino, The OTA and many other organizations. Numerous publications have featured stories on Michael as his work has grown over the last several years.
Michael has a true love for what he does and that comes across in every piece he produces. When you talk to Michael you know he has a big heart and can see his true passion. Gebb's philosophy is simple; "You only live once so you might as well be doing something you love and doing it well. You also have to treat everyone with respect....a little of that goes a long way".

Chief Financial Officer Deric Rees


During Deric’s 9-year career in the financial field, he spent the first twelve months receiving his education with Edward Jones and obtaining his Insurance and Series 7 Security licenses.
In 2001, Deric joined Kiffmeyer Tax Advisory Group, Inc., as a partner. In the succeeding eight years, he obtained his Registered Advisors license and his Certified Financial PlannerTM certificate.
Currently, Deric serves as Vice President of Kiffmeyer Tax Advisory Group, Inc., Vice President of Kiffmeyer Accounting & Tax Service, Ltd., CFO of Ultimate Innovative Designs, Inc., and CFO of Arsenic Records, Inc. He is also a member in good standing with the National Ethics Bureau.
Prior to his financial career, he worked as an engineer with SBC Communications, Utility, Safety, and Design, Inc., and Rite Electric Company.
Deric obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with minors in both math and physics from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville in 1992.

Legal Counsel Barbara Graham


A 1995 Graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law, Barbara has extensive court and trial experience and has negotiated divorce settlements and entertainment contracts with some of the top attorneys in St. Louis and nationwide. A member of the Missouri Bar and Entertainment Law Division of the American Bar Association, Barbara is a featured contributor to the new book by music author/commentator Moses Avalon, “Million Dollar Mistakes”, has been quoted in Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly, writes the legal column for Disclosure Newszine and has been a featured writer in The Urban Network Magazine. Prior to attending Law School, Barbara attended Crane School of Music at SUNY, where she played in Jazz Band and toured with the critically acclaimed Crane School of Music Wind Ensemble before graduating with a degree in marketing and conomics. She has performed in professional summer theatre as an orchestra and cast member.
A supporter of the St. Louis entertainment scene, Barbara has served as Chairman of Performance Coordination/Artist Relations for the US Bank St. Louis Jazz Festival and the St. Louis Art Fair, has been a panelist for numerous entertainment industry conferences, including the Urban Network Conference in Palm Springs, CA, Inspired Music Entertainment Seminars, Hood Magazine Conference, Streetwise Entertainment and Missouri Black Expo. She was profiled as a “Woman on the Move” in The Flipside Newszine, October 2003, and is a faculty member for Fontbonne University’s Sports and Entertainment Management program.
As an attorney in Clayton, she practices in the areas of Entertainment Law and Domestic Relations. She is legal counsel for Notifi Music Group, which released R&B artist Ginuwine’s comeback album on Asylum/Warner, as well as for Shorty da Kid, Atlantic recording artist and DJ on Hot 104.1, Universal Records artist Luey V, rapper Potzee, and for the St Louis based Derrty DJ’s. In addition to helping entertainment clients with legal issues, she particularly enjoys facilitating contacts and opening doors for artists and labels to help them reach their career goals.

On-site Production Manager John A. Schmiemeier
Schmiemeier's introduction to musical production occurred while attending Central Missouri State University (1973-1976), where he majored in industrial safety and pre-law.
He was hired by Pure Prairie League to be part of the band’s road crew. No sooner did that job end than he was snapped up by the rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd (1976-1977).
In 1977, Contemporary Productions of St. Louis brought him on board as an assistant production manager (1977-1979). In 1979, he was elevated to production manager for the company’s shows in every major venue across the United States. In this situation, he was in charge of concert production from logistics, labor management, catering and all aspects of the day-of-show production. (1979-1986).
From 1982-1985, he was the production manager for Fair St. Louis, and a number a Super Jams, which are stadium events.
In 1986, he left Contemporary to join Monsanto, where he worked in operations. (1986-2010).
In 1995, he was sought out by a group of independent promoters across the country to be the primary production manager for their shows. The offer wasn’t seriously considered until a short time later, when the management for rock superstars The Eagles requested that help out several promoters that had booked the band’s tour. To this day, he is still the production manager for a number of promoters.
In addition, he has been the production manager for Police Productions in St. Charles, MO. (1996-2010).
During all of those years, he had been the production manager for more than 4500 shows, featuring artists as varied as the Rolling Stones and Frank Sinatra to Kenny Chesney and the Boston Ballet, featuring Rudolf Nureyev.
In addition, he is the president of Pyrotechnico – Midwest, which does special effects. His company did the special effects for the 2000 St. Louis Rams “Greatest Show on Turf,” and is the only special effects company to do HBO’s Inside the NFL.
Since his company opened the door with the Rams, the parent company has added special effects for the Philadelphia Eagles, the New Orleans Saints, the Texas Texans and the New York Jets, all of which Schmiemeier handles.
But it is not just football for which he has done special effects. He has done the special effects for the likes of Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, the Transiberian Orchestra, the Show Me Games at the University of Missouri at Columbia and “The Nutcracker” ballet.

Marketing/Promotions Manager Mike McBride


In 2009, Mike was instrumental in the conception of the Arsenic Records label. In his current position as Marketing/Promotions Manager for Arsenic Records, Mike discovered the label’s first band, “The Matt Rowland Band,” and continues to search out the best new talent in the area.
Mike, Tim McBride (Mike’s father), Mike Picker, Jeremy Beecher and Paul Graves made up the team that engineered and constructed the professional recording studio for Arsenic Records.
Prior to Arsenic, Mike was a Marketing Consultant for Kiffmeyer Tax Advisory Group, where he joined after graduating from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Health Eduction.

Creative Director Lisa Schmitz


Lisa is the founder and owner of Loyet Creative, a full-service marketing and graphic design studio in St. Louis, Missouri. Since the inception of Loyet Creative in 1991, Lisa has had the opportunity to develop, design and create print collateral materials used for marketing and advertising for a large variety of organizations and businesses throughout the United States.
Collaborations with clients such as The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, Mark Lemp Footwear, Strutz Shoes, Rockwood Capital Advisors and Celebrity Entertainment have also given Lisa the opportunity to travel to various trade shows, conventions and theatrical productions where she served as Creative Director.
In 2000-2001, Lisa was the Creative Director for John Leguizamo’s one-man comedy show, “Sexaholix,” which began as a traveling production, then became a Tony-nominated Broadway hit, and ultimately went on to be an HBO special.
Prior to Loyet Creative, Lisa was an account manager for Macro-Media and a graphic designer at Boatmen’s Bancshares. She received a bachelor of arts degree in marketing in 1988, and a master of arts in visual communication and advertising in 1990, both from Lindenwood University.
Lisa currently lives in St. Louis with her husband and five children, where she feels very fortunate to be able to continue her love for design with the flexibility to enjoy both work and family.
